Doomography exists because great Nordic heavy music is too often undiscoverable. No algorithm surfaces it correctly. No streaming platform covers it comprehensively. No directory takes it seriously. Every riff deserves to be heard, every band deserves to be found, and every release deserves to be documented.
We catalogue every doom, stoner and fuzz band from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Every band is verified by people who actually know the genre. Every release is documented with tracklists, formats, labels, catalogue numbers and links to buy. From monolithic Swedish funeral doom to Norwegian psychedelic fuzz and Finnish death-doom, if it comes from the Nordic underground, it belongs here. No band is too obscure, no release too small.
The directory is free to use and free to submit to. Bands and labels can submit directly through the site. Most submissions go live within 48 hours after a human review. We listen to the music before approving anything. Every riff counts.
